Explore Barnet with the London Festival of Architecture

Barnet Council has teamed up with the London Festival of Architecture (LFA) to deliver a series of events celebrating architecture, local art and cultural assets within the borough. We are delighted to be among the first outer London boroughs to participate in the festival which will run throughout June.

With more than 70 events, exploring this year’s theme ‘In Common’, Barnet’s LFA programme is packed full of exciting activities for all ages to get involved. These will be led by a community of local event organisers from across the town centres including architects, artists, and local groups and organisations. Highlights include a behind-the-scenes tour of North Finchley artsdepot, talks and an exhibition from Stonegrove Community Trust, workshops by local artists and much more.

The programme also includes two commissions to be installed for June -‘Let’s Meet on the Edge’ in Edgware and‘Connecting Colindale: A Flight Path Folly’,alongside other talks, guided tours, workshops and family-friendly activities.
