Calling Barnet based artists and makers!

The Finchley Central Town Team are excited to announce that we’ve been working with Barnet Council and arts social enterprise (Citizens Art London CIC), to bring a programme of art events and activity to Finchley Central, this autumn.

We are now inviting Barnet based (living, working or studying) artists and makers to apply to attend one or more of the three upcoming art markets on 29th October, 27th November and 17th December, taking place in/around Albert Place, off Ballards Lane. Fees apply – £55 (and £65 for Dec), artists will be supplied with tables and gazebos – simply bring your work on the day. Full info will be provided upon application.

In addition, @citizensartldn are working with us and Barnet Council officers to bring together plans for a festive art reveal project, where artists and artworks will be matched to participating businesses, and revealed each day through December. This project is funded by Barnet Council and is free for artists and businesses to participate in. As part of this project, there is also a paid commission opportunity for a mural and window artist.

As well as supporting Barnet artists and Finchley Central businesses, this exciting arts project will provide opportunities for local residents to form a curatorial panel, to create a long list of artists/artworks, which participating local businesses will be able to use to select art for their premises.
